Tackling Big Challenges with a Full QI Culture Shift (Archived Webinar)

Overview

This archived webinar explores how the Springfield-Greene County Health Department (MO) leveraged the public health accreditation process to spark creativity, innovation, and further staff involvement in performance improvement efforts organization-wide. During the webinar, presenters shared how the health department revamped its Quality Council and took a multifaceted and comprehensive approach to systematic quality improvement. Health department staff discussed their multi-tiered approach, including their performance management framework, their program plan development, program plan workbooks, and program logic models. Presenters also discussed how they integrated departmental performance management, health equity, strategic planning, workforce development, and other concepts.
