Ways Early Care and Education Settings Can Support Routine Vaccination Catch-Up

Young children under 5 years of age are more susceptible to vaccine-preventable diseases due to their developing immune systems. Keeping them up-to-date with routine vaccinations plays a crucial role in kindergarten readiness, ensuring they are healthy and ready to learn. The Public Health Foundation (PHF), in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), designed an actionable toolkit for early care and education (ECE) providers to support navigating vaccine conversations with parents. Explore the toolkit and share with your networks to promote routine vaccinations in ECE settings.

Watch Now: Vaccine Storage and Transport Video Series

Do you or your team store and transport vaccines? Are you aware of what is considered a qualified container for vaccine transport? PHF, in collaboration with CDC, breaks down vaccine storage and transport processes for off-site clinics and emergencies in a new educational video series. Watch and share the series with your networks.

Coming Soon: Fostering A Culture of Immunization in Your Practice

Be on the lookout for the Fostering a Culture of Immunization in Your Practice interactive course developed by PHF and CDC, launching this summer. The course is designed to help all healthcare professionals cultivate a work environment that emphasizes the importance of immunization within their practices. Through comprehensive guidance, it aims to involve every member of the practice—from front desk staff to clinicians—in the mission to keep patients up-to-date with their immunizations.
