Today, our public health department's SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analyses must also consider their impact on the social sector of the community they serve. To accomplish this crucial component, we need to understand how our current strategies are impacting outcomes in our community by examining how our health department addresses systematic inequalities and oppression​.

Adding inclusion and equity to our SWOT Analysis, making the analysis a SWOTIE, will help health departments to start strategically building in inclusion and equity into their work at all levels.

​​​In this webinar, presenters will discuss how to use a SWOTIE analysis and the SWOTIE Action Prioritization Matrix ​to help health departments expand their SWOT analyses to consider their impact on the social sector of the community they serve.
