The first webinar of the enhanced National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP) Webinar series will be held August 23rd from 2 -3 PM ET on Performance Standards, Accreditation, and MAPP!  Oh My!  How do they all Fit Together?  During the annual NPHPSP Training held in May in St. Louis, Missouri, Julia Joh Elligers and Les Beitsch shared insight into the how all of these performance improvement strategies and tools work together.  Due to the positive response from participants at the Annual Training, they will present this information again on the webinar.   In order to respond to the growing movement around accreditation and quality improvement in public health, the focus of the NPHPSP Webinar series has been expanded to include complementary topics related to performance management. Such topics include accreditationupdates and key information, quality improvement, community health assessment and improvement planning, and MAPP.

To register for this webinar and to be notified of upcoming teleconferences, please send an email to Lil Johnson at ljohnson@nnphi.org.  The National Network of Public Health Institutes hosts monthly webinars for users of the NPHPSP and interested parties. The calls provide an opportunity to share experiences and lessons learned with fellow NPHPSP users as well as learn about topics on a national level that relate to performance assessment.
