The Public Health Foundation (PHF), in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Network of Public Health Institutes, will host a webinar on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 4-5pm EST that will highlight PHF's work around the Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals. Speakers Ron Bialek and Julie Sharp of the Public Health Foundation will discuss the Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals and their relationship to the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies), which were developed by the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice. Participants will be asked to provide feedback on the draft Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals to help inform further development. In addition, resources that align with the draft Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals will be discussed.

 

Learning Objectives

By engaging in this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose of the Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals and their relationship to the Core Competencies
  • Identify resources to help support the use of the Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals
  • Provide feedback on the draft Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals to inform their further development
