Domain Definitions Updated for the 2021 Core Competencies

Following the release of the 2021 Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies), the Public Health Foundation (PHF) has been working to develop new resources and tools to support public health professionals and organizations in using the newest version of the Core Competencies. Most recently, the domain definitions, Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals: Domains, have been updated for the newest version of the Core Competencies. This tool describes the eight domains used to organize the Core Competencies representing skill areas within public health. Visit the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals: Domains webpage to access the updated tool and share any questions with Mayela Arana at marana@phf.org.
