Hospitals Honored for Partnerships to Improve Local Community Health 

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) announced the inaugural winners of the Future of Population Health Award, which recognizes exemplary practice by hospitals and health systems that are collaborating with public health departments and other community partners on health improvement strategies and implementation efforts. Pennsylvania Launches TRAIN Learning Network Site

The Pennsylvania Department of Health (PA DOH) and Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) have partnered to launch TRAIN PA , the state’s new TRAIN Learning Network site.  TRAIN PA offers state and local agencies in Pennsylvania an opportunity to work closely together on professional training and education priorities within public health. Learn more about how the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is maximizing its benefits from becoming the latest affiliate to launch TRAIN.
Cheyenne, Wyoming to Host 2017 TRAIN Learning Network Annual Meeting

The TRAIN Learning Network Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to share information, tools, and resources related to workforce training and development. The 2017 meeting is sponsored by PHF and TRAIN’s technology partner, KMI Learning, and is hosted this year by the Wyoming Department of Health. Representatives from TRAIN’s 29 Affiliates, as well as from agencies and organizations that focus on workforce training and development in the public health, healthcare, and preparedness sectors are invited to attend.
