The Genie is Out of the Bottle:
From "little qi" to "Big QI" in Chester County
In Chester County, PA, the health department began its quality improvement (QI) journey in much the same way as other health departments: while preparing for voluntary public health accreditation, the health department chose to build staff capacity to conduct QI projects. During an on-site training led by the Public Health Foundation (PHF), the health department staff kicked off six project teams and established a QI culture within the organization. Follow the journey in Chester County's case story, The Genie is Out of the Bottle: From "little qi" to "Big QI." |

Learn more about how PHF is supporting health improvement through the development of population health competencies, tailored services, and a new book written by Senior Quality Advisor Jack Moran on Transforming Community Health Through Leadership. |
