Be on the lookout for the interactive online training Fostering a Culture of Immunization in Your Practice, developed by the Public Health Foundation (PHF) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for immunization providers and staff. The training is designed to help healthcare professionals cultivate an environment that emphasizes the importance of immunization within their practices. Each strategy within the training provides practical methods for embracing effective organizational change by involving every member of the practice to contribute to routine immunization efforts.

Vaccine Storage and Handling Videos All in One Playlist



Proper vaccine storage and handling are essential for protecting communities from vaccine-preventable diseases. A new video playlist on vaccine storage and handling is now available for immunization staff and the public health workforce. PHF, in collaboration with CDC, developed these videos to provide detailed, easy-to-follow guidelines for best practices in vaccine supply management. How Early Care and Education Providers Can Help Children Keep Their Vaccinations Up-to-Date


Early Care and Education (ECE) providers, alongside other childcare professionals, are instrumental in supporting routine vaccinations and protecting children, families, and communities against vaccine-preventable diseases. PHF, in collaboration with CDC, developed an informative toolkit for ECE providers across various settings including center-based childcare, family childcare, Head Start, and other early learning, early intervention, and preschool/pre-kindergarten programs. We encourage you to share the toolkit with ECE providers, as well as your organizational partners, to support and enhance routine vaccination efforts.

Health Department Spotlight: California Department of Public Health School-Located Vaccine Event Resources



California Department of Public Health has launched comprehensive resources dedicated to school-located vaccine events (SLVEs). These include an interactive training module, a promotional toolkit with editable templates, planning guides, job aids, and more to assist in partnering with different audiences to help conduct SLVEs.
