Choose to Be Lean and Effective

With the limited resources available, it is imperative that agencies be effective and efficient in combating these public health threats.

Receiving funds for emergency preparedness related to Zika? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awarded two waves of funding to states, cities, and territories to support efforts to protect the population from Zika virus infection and associated adverse health outcomes, including microcephaly and other serious birth defects. Funds included $25 million announced on July 1, 2016 and $16 million announced on August 2, 2016. Let PHF help you stretch those dollars so they do the most good during this public health emergency.
