Length of Time in Public Health:

  • More than 40 years

Current Work Setting:

  • Academic institutions

Relationship Building Experience:

  • I have been involved in developing academic health departments (AHDs)

About Me:

Since 1971, I have participated in leadership roles (prior to the "birth" of the name "AHD") participated in building AHD partnerships. Under the general field of "on-campus/off-campus" projects and/or programs, the role covered strategic and operational management of academic public health practice-based teaching, research, and service. Linkages between public health schools/programs and public health practice entities and academic institutions in the Middle East and the US, is my area of interest, including CEPH and university wide accreditation.

I am interested in a "No geographic boundaries" approach (national and global).
