About Me:

My position at the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is new. This is my first time working in governmental public health. Previously, I was an instructor of record in Health Studies at Texas Woman's University where I taught undergraduate internship preparation, facilitated the internship Fair, and worked with preceptors. Part of my role as Academic Affairs Coordinator is to help SNHD become an AHD. I describe my role as being at the intersection of academic partnerships, research, practice, and workforce development.
