Training Impact Task Force

Overview

​The Training Impact Task Force (Task Force) provided expert guidance and direction to aid the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice with its Public Health Training Impact initiative. Work of the Task Force focused on identifying and elaborating strategies to improve the quality of training and better measure its impact.

The Task Force was composed of 11 experts on training and evaluation. Task Force members were drawn from academia, practice, and the private sector, and work both inside and outside of the public health field. Funding for the Task Force was provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
