- Performance Management Toolkit: This Public Health Foundation (PHF) resource provides information in two areas: approaches to performance management and performance management system framework components and resources. Components of visible leadership, performance standards, performance measurement, reporting progress, and quality improvement (QI) are discussed in detail.
- Performance Management Self-Assessment: This assessment, originally part of the Turning Point Initiative, was updated in 2012 as part of the Public Health Performance Management System Framework. It can be used to identify both strengths and areas for improvement in their performance management systems. Included in the tool are background information, instructions, additional resources, and key term definitions.
- Selecting Quality Improvement Team Members: This PHF worksheet indicates how to select participants for a QI project and provides a set of guidelines for comparing and selecting potential team members.
- Top 10 Problems Encountered by Quality Improvement Teams: This blog by PHF Senior Quality Advisor John W. Moran identifies and discusses top problems encountered by QI teams, as well as how to overcome those challenges.
