New Toolkit Available to Support Routine Vaccination Catch-Up Among School-Aged Children

Kindergarten vaccination coverage in the United States is the lowest it has been in decades, placing children and their communities at increased risk for preventable disease outbreaks. Core Competencies 2021 Crosswalk Tool Now Available

PHF continues to develop new resources and tools to support public health professionals and organizations in using the 2021 version of the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies). Most recently, a crosswalk of the 2021 version of the Core Competencies to the 2014 version has been completed. This tool illustrates the relationships between specific competencies within these two versions and can be used by public health professionals and organizations to help transition workforce development efforts from the 2014 Core Competencies to the 2021 version.
