Presenters from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the City of Milwaukee Health Department discuss how they used the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies) to assess their workforce skills and competencies needs and are addressing identified gaps through workforce development opportunities. Speakers also shared how the Core Competencies are being used for Public Health Infrastructure Grant workforce development initiatives, health department accreditation, and integrating anti-racist frameworks with the Core Competencies.
